Blend
  • The first step will be to create a scent, a harmonious blend that you can use simply in your diffuser or burner or in a home recipe or beauty ritual. You can visit our blog dedicated to learn more about the art of blending or you can get some inspirations with one of these blend suggestions below:
    • Sensual blend: 10 drops Orange, 2 drops cedar, 1 drop ylang Ylang Ylang
    • Anti stress blend: 8 drops bergamot, 4 drops patchouli, 1 drop lemongrass
    • Freshen your Home blend: 10 drops lemon, 3 drops eucalyptus
    • Energise blend: 1 drop eucalyptus, 1 drop peppermint, 1 drop lemon
    • Sleep Blend: 2 drops lavender, 4 drops orange
    • Clean blend: Tea Tree, Lemon, Peppermint
    • Balance Blend: Geranium, Lavender, Lemon
    • Simple Cologne Blend: 10 drops bergamot, 3 drops lavender, 2 drop eucalyptus, 1 drop geranium, 1 drop ylang
    • Beard Oil blend: 5 drops bergamot, 2 drops cedar, 2 drops patchouli
    • Bug Spray Blend: lemongrass, geranium, lavender

Perfume/Cologne

Add 30 drops of your essential oil blend to 1 large tbsp alcohol and 1tsp water (alternatively use 20ml of vodka). Pour mixture into a small glass spray bottle.

Solid Perfume

Melt 10gr of beeswax in a double boiler, add 15ml of almond oil
and 30 drops of your essential oil blend. Pour into a small tin can and let cool for an hour before using.

 

Diffuser/Burner

Add 5 to 10 drops of essential oils to 1⁄4 cup of water (adapt according to the directions of your own diffuser

 

Body Scrub

Add 20gr of melted coconut oil (or 10gr almond oil + 10gr coconut oil) to 20gr of raw cane sugar in a glass jar. Add 15 drops of essential oils and mix thoroughly.

 

Bath Salt

Add 20 drops of your essential oil blend to 1 cup of sea salt or Epsom salt. Mix well and pour in a glass jar. Disperse a handful in a hot bath before getting in (you can also add 2 tbsp of baking soda to the mixture).

 

Facial Sauna

Add 5 drops of essential oils into a large bowl. Pour a kettle of hot water over it and place your face over the bowl and under a towel. Breathe in through your nose.

 

Body/Massage Oil

Add 15-20 drops of essential oils for each 1⁄4 cup of carrier oil (jojoba, almond, coconut).

 

Foot Scrub

Add 20gr of jojoba oil (or 10gr
of melted coconut oil + 10gr of jojoba oil) to 20gr sea salt. Add 30 drops of essential oils and mix with a spoon. Massage your feet and rinse.

 

Room Freshener

Add 50-60 drops of your essential oil blend to 2 tbsp of denatured alcohol and 1tsp of water (alternatively 35ml of vodka). Pour into a spray bottle.

 

Shower Spa

Apply 5-10 drops of essential oils onto a sponge or piece of cloth and bring with you in the shower (place on the floor or anywhere in contact with hot water).

 

Surface Cleaner

Add 40-50 drops of essential oils to 1⁄4 cup of white vinegar and 1⁄4 cup of water. Pour into a large spray bottle and sprinkle around your bathroom or kitchen. Let sit a few minutes and wash with a lukewarm sponge.

 

Mosquito Spray

Add 30 drops of your essential oil blend to 1 large tbsp alcohol and 1tsp water (alternatively use 20ml of vodka). Pour mixture

in a small glass spray bottle and apply when needed.
